Editorial policy
Honest World Journal aims to be accurate, independent and clear about what a story can and cannot establish. Our editorial choices begin with the subject, the available context and the distinction between description and interpretation.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable material and use precise language when evidence or interpretation is limited. We avoid presenting a single example as representative of a whole place or culture. Comparisons explain their terms, and we revise wording when it implies more certainty or breadth than the subject supports.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, gifted or partner-supported material is identified plainly where it appears, so readers can see the nature of the relationship. A partnership does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or editorial control.
Corrections
If a reader identifies a factual error or a meaningful omission, they can write through the Contact page. We review the point, check the relevant wording and amend the story when warranted. Significant changes are described in the article so readers can understand what was corrected.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When that applies, the image is labelled accordingly. Illustrations are used to support a story, not as documentary proof of an object's appearance, origin or use.
